What happened here?
The Hyde Park Boulevard facility manufactured ceramic, dielectric and refractory-product ingredients under NL Industries, Titanium Alloy Manufacturing and later TAM Ceramics. An undeveloped portion of the property received process residues and obsolete material during the operating era.
DEC's record evaluates two histories at once: material generated or placed on the TAM property and organic contamination associated with the adjoining Hooker Hyde Park landfill corridor. WNYAtlas keeps those sources distinct.
